By accessing or using this website or any RMS software or services linked here (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1) Who we are

RMS builds and distributes software for manufacturing, including experimental, pre-release (“beta”) modules such as agentic Mastercam programming augmentation, quoting, DNC tools, and related utilities.

2) Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. If an account is required for any module, you’re responsible for your credentials and all activity under your account.

3) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law, infringe IP, or violate others’ rights using the Services.

• Probe or attack our infrastructure or attempt to bypass security or access controls.

• Upload malicious code or content that is unlawful, defamatory, deceptive, or invasive of privacy.

• Use the Services to create or distribute harmful content or to violate export, sanctions, or defense/ITAR-related laws.

4) Export, sanctions, and ITAR notice

Some manufacturing content, data, and software may be subject to U.S. export, re-export, and sanctions laws, including ITAR and EAR. You are responsible for compliance. Do not upload, process, or expose controlled technical data through the Services unless you have verified that your use is lawful and authorized. RMS does not accept liability for your compliance obligations.

5) Intellectual property

Unless otherwise noted, the website, software, text, graphics, logos, and other materials are owned by RMS or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.

License to you. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the website and to install/use our downloadable tools solely for your internal business use during any free or evaluation period we provide.

Your content. If you submit feedback, suggestions, or content, you grant RMS a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and incorporate it into our products and Services without obligation to you.

6) Third-party services & open source

The Services may reference or integrate third-party services (e.g., video embeds, analytics, or CAD/CAM utilities). Your use of those is governed by their terms and privacy policies. Our software may include open-source components subject to their own licenses; those licenses govern the components they cover.

7) Beta software; AI-assisted features

Pre-release warning. Many RMS modules are experimental, may contain bugs, may change without notice, and may be withdrawn at any time. Performance, availability, and output are not guaranteed.

AI outputs. Some features use automated or AI-assisted logic that can be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. You are solely responsible for verifying AI-generated output (e.g., toolpaths, quotes, schedules, compliance suggestions) before use. AI outputs are provided “as is” and are not professional advice.

8) No professional advice

The Services may discuss manufacturing, compliance (e.g., ITAR, AS9100, ISO 9001/13485, NIST 800-171), safety, legal, or financial topics. This is for informational purposes only and not a substitute for qualified professional advice. You remain responsible for your decisions and compliance.

9) Privacy & cookies

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. By using the Services, you agree to it.
We use cookies and similar technologies. Some cookies are necessary for site operation and do not require consent. Optional cookies (e.g., analytics/marketing) may be controlled via your browser or our cookie banner. Third-party services embedded on the site may set their own cookies. 12) Fees & payment

Many modules are currently provided for free for evaluation. If we introduce paid plans, we will present pricing and terms at checkout or within the app. Taxes may apply. Unless stated otherwise, all fees are non-refundable once a billing period begins.

13) Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES (INCLUDING ALL CONTENT, SOFTWARE, AND AI-ASSISTED FEATURES) ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. YOU ASSUME ALL RISK FOR YOUR USE, INCLUDING FOR MANUFACTURING OUTCOMES, TOOLING, MACHINE PROGRAMS, AND COMPLIANCE DECISIONS.

14) Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RMS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION; OR COSTS OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS IN THE AGGREGATE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) $100 OR (B) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO RMS FOR THE SERVICES IN THE 3 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, the limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted.

15) Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RMS from and against claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Services, your content, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

16) Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms or if required by law. You may stop using the Services at any time. Sections that by nature should survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitations, indemnity, governing law) will survive termination.

17) Governing law; venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue and jurisdiction for any dispute shall be the state or federal courts located in Whatcom County, Washington, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

18) Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective Date” shows the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
