About Us

Amber and I are building reliable machining software with care and dedication.

Our Story

We’re Amber and Tim, a husband-and-wife team who run a two-person precision CNC shop. For years we’ve lived the same reality as a lot of small manufacturers: high-mix, low-volume work, tight deadlines, ITAR and aerospace requirements—and a patchwork of ERPs, spreadsheets, and manual processes that were never designed for shops our size.

We tried the usual options: big, monolithic ERPs built for enterprises, generic job-shop software, and a stack of custom spreadsheets. They either demanded full-time IT support, forced us into their workflows, or fell apart under real compliance pressure. None of them matched how a modern, high-compliance small shop actually runs.

RMS Agentic ERP started as a question, not a product: What if an ERP could think like an experienced shop owner, stay air-gapped for security, and still provide full traceability for audits? Since then, we’ve been designing the architecture, validating workflows against real jobs in our own shop, and protecting the core ideas with a provisional patent. We’re still early—RMS is in the design and R&D phase, pre-prototype—but the problem, and our conviction, are both very real.

Reliable Machining Software exists to turn that vision into a commercially viable platform: an AI-native, air-gapped ERP built specifically for small CNC and fabrication shops operating in regulated environments. Our unfair advantage is simple: we are the target user, and every design decision is grounded in real quoting, scheduling, quality, and compliance work we do ourselves.

We’re now building the team, partnerships, and capital base required to take RMS Agentic ERP from architecture and patent to a robust, production-ready system. If you believe small manufacturers deserve world-class software—not hand-me-down tools from enterprise IT—then you’re the kind of investor we’re building this with.
